Description

The 2021 Ried Schön Grüner Veltliner from Martin Muthenthaler needed a splash decant and some patience before it opened up. Probably needs another 2-3 years before reaching early drinking maturity.

Organic farming. Spontaneous fermentation and ageing in 850l oak barrels. Stone fruit at first – with time a touch of exotic fruit as well. Green herbs, white pepper and slate. Focused palate with medium+ acidity.
